The University of A Coruña is celebrating its 25th anniversary during the academic term 2014/15. Among the different activities being organized, we feel honoured by the confidence placed by the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ) inviting us to organize its XXXV Biannual Congress that will take place in A Coruña from 19th to 23rd July 2015. You are cordially invited to participate!

The XXXV Biannual Congress of the RSEQ will be held at the venue of the Congresses and Exhibitions Palace of A Coruña (Palexco), and will be configured around 17 different specialized simposia in the most diverse fields of Chemistry. We hope this will serve to promote a direct exchange of the most recently generated advances in Chemistry and Chemical Technology. We will have an exceptional group of plenary lecturers, including Richard R. Schrock, Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2005, and Avelino Corma Canós, Prince of Asturias Award 2014. Moreover, the Congress faces a very important internationalization challenge toward the RSEQ Biannual Meetings and, therefore, toward Spanish chemical science, with approximately 50% of invited speakers from foreign institutions.

The touristic attractive of A Coruña, its metropolitan area and its province, especially at the end of July, is unquestionable. As a city, A Coruña has been traditionally opened to newcomers and foreigners, with very nice weather, excellent gastronomy, beautiful landscapes and full of history which, no doubt, will guarantee leisure and entertainment out of the scientific environment of the Congress. We look forward to meeting you!
